One of the most emotionally charged cases in the entire state of Ohio, the case of Richard Sabo was filed by attorney Robert F. DiCello, of The DiCello Firm, on behalf of the surviving family members of the Sabo family. In a written statement published in the local paper, Robert said, "My clients believe, from time to time, government needs to be held accountable for its wrongdoing — though it might be an uncomfortable process. And they also believe this community knows that an overly aggressive police force is not a good police force. They feel there are many issues which need to be addressed in our court system." For Disinherited Woman
November30, 2009
In a trial to the Lake County, Ohio, Probate Court bench, Attorney Robert J. DiCello, founder of The DiCello Firm, found justice for a woman who would have been disinherited from her brother's estate, if her nephew had gotten his way. The trial court determined the nephew had encouraged his uncle to change some documents on a trust when the uncle was not competent to do so. The Court found the uncle had bee subjected to undue influence and duress at the time he signed the trust paperwork in favor of the nephew. The effect of the paperwork was to disinherit the woman from her brother's estate, and have it pass to the nephew. The victory returned to the woman the $1.2M that her brother had originally intended to give to her.
