Unfortunately, for many women, ObTape caused complications, including infection, abscess, fistula, encapsulation and erosion of the ObTape through bodily tissues. The migration and disintegrating of this sling can cause extreme pain. Symptoms may include pain during sex, general pain in the groin area and vaginal wall erosion.
